About John Galea

John Galea has been writing for stage and screen since 1998. From his adaptation of ‘Alice in Wonderland’ (Alice) performed in 2002, to Superhal – The Superhero Origin Story of Shakespeare’s Henry V (Performed at NIDA Theatres in 2017), adapted from Shakespeare’s second historical tetralogy, John has written plays, short films, radio dramas, TV episodes and feature length screenplays, often fusing classical or mythological themes with contemporary science fiction and fantasy. After working for a number of years as a teacher in primary schools, John decided to turn his hand to writing novels for young readers.
